Dr Reem Awaad, 02 634 5162

Located behind Marks & Spencers Building.

They make you do x rays prior to first adjustment, or if you have x rays less than 12 months old take them in.

They will do the xrays there, same day service. Had them taken in the morning and they offered me an appointment to come back in the afternoon. I think they know what they are doing (a rare thing round here lol) BUT as said on other threads they want you to go almost daily, and not sure that they arent ripping you off. Ive seen loads of people for my back over the years and the most they suggest is twice weekly! Another thing i did notice is that you spend about 3 minutes with the chiripractor the rest of the time is spent with ice packs and a industrial tens machine so not a lot of time for your money. Do a search on previous threads on here, you may get information of a better place to go. That said i would trust them if you cant find anywhere else to go.

Dr Reem is good. They do ask you to come back a lot though.
I personally prefer Dr Ali at Canadian Chiro (02 446 9006)he is also very good. He has had a price rise recently so nearly as expensive as Dr Reem.
Simply down to whether you prefer a man or woman and location.

Nah!!!! the best best best doctor to see is Dr Dassouki at the Canadian Chiro Delma street, I have been 2 2 others and nope! He's defo the best...if you can get an appt! I have been seeing him for nearly 2 years his number is 024469006.....and as for Dr ali there, well lets's just say I had another appointment the next day to correct what he had done. Although it was a while ago and to be fair he has more experience now. As for whether it's expensive or not well, I dont put a price on my health, if the doctor is excellent go with it. biggrin.gif

Dr Ahmed Dassouki a Canadian Chiro behind Khaleedj Tents is by far the best. I have had treatment from both the other two mentioned and Dr Ahmed is just so much better.

FYI - Dr. Reem is on a year's sabbatical. Dr. Oudi, who is equally as good, is looking after the practice. I've referred several people people to them and all have been very happy.

I've been seeing Dr Maurice at Canadian Chiro and he's been great - he also saw my daughter after she fell down stairs and was really thorough and recommended no further treatment - a rare thing here as they're usually trying to get you in for the next visit - and if a 3 year old will be calm for him then he's pretty good IMO!!!

YES, I've been to this chiropractor center in the back of Marc and Sencer, and I will never go again for the following reasons :
1st they are lier, telling you that your insurance will pay you back 80%; they even call for you, but they do not give you a written confirmation.
2nd, they charge you 500dhs just for 1st interview.
3rd, they make you doing an other X-ray, saying your is not showing the good bones.
4th, they tell you it will cost you 275dhs per session, and you end-up having electro and massage that cost you nearly 600dhs.
5th, They made me pay 15000dhs ( telling me my inssurance will re-emburse)
6th, Dr Oudi made manipulation on my back that last less than 1 minute, and told me to come back in 2 days
7th, during 2 days, I never felt so unconfortable, and could felt something was not right anymore in my back, and felt like if I could not breath.
I've been racing for nearly 20 years, I've seen many physioterapeute and chiropractor, but this Dr OUDI is really the one I would not suggest to anybody.
8th, After complaining, I managed to get a refund of 11300dhs - this mean the 6 sessions I made cost me 3700dhs
9th, my back had no better improvement than to see this sport indian girl "Kawita" at ZENZU massage center in Eclipse hotel
10th, if you want to be ripped off, then go to Chriropractic Specialty Center, and ask Dr Oudi Abouchacra.
11th, I went to Franco-Emirien hospital, and had 6 session of Physioterapy. Paid 100% by my insurrance.
12th, the physioterapy Dr Patrick, made me manipulation and massage to relax my tens muscle, and I felt much better after 1st session.
I have reported the problem with "CHIROPRACTIC SPECIALIST CENTER" to the abudhabi health Authority

I went to Clare Shryane from the American European Hospital and i had an awful experience. I can't question her professional experience but i can say she doesn't care about her patients.
First time after i saw her, i had unbearable pain in my back, i called to ask her what can i do, and she told me to take pain killers. when i went for my next appointment having pain for more than 4 days and looking forward to see her, i was 15 minutes late due to my condition and traffic and she told me to go home as there is nothing else to do if i was late. My appointment was for 45 minutes and i asked to be seen the remaining time- 25 minutes. She refused. I said i would wait as long as it takes, cause i have pain...no result. So i was in unbearable [pain and she didn't even talk to me. In my opinion this is inhuman...people like this should not be doctors.

They are not actual doctors. They don't have medical degrees and they don't have PhDs.

Dr. Maurice at the Canadian Chiropractic clinic is the best - My DH went to him after suffering for 4 weeks with a sciatica out of place and he fixed in 4 sessions and he can go back as needed. If you hurt after your adjustment you should tell your chiropractor before you leave and if they don't adjust you to relieve the pain you should find another chiropractor.

Then that is an exception to the rule. Look it up, you do not need a medical degree to practice chiropractic.
