We are going to do the residence visa for our newborn but we haven't got the birth certificate certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs behind Carrefour on airport Rd yet. We will do the visa through hubbies work. Can we do the visa with the birth cert as it is or does the birth cert need to be certified before we can do it.
Thanks

havent gone through it in Abu Dhabi but in Dubai you have to have the arabic birth certificate to do the visa. So if baby was born out of the country I would assume that to mean you need the certification.

Hi V,
We were told that the birth certificates didn't need attesting. We got both an arabic and english certificate from the corniche. In addition we were just told passport insurance and photo.
Have you got the ppt now? We get ours on monday

Baby was born in Auh. Got the passport on Thurs so hubby will submit them on Sun. I just remember that in Dubai we had to get everything authenticated even though it was all issued in Dubai.

hi, i don't think a birth cert issued in Abu Dhabi needs to be stamped by ministry.
