Hi All

My Dad is 58yrs old and is a Health Care Manager. He has been told by a recruiter that 56yrs old is the upper age limit to work in Health Care in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Surely this is not true?

Does any one know?

You can carry on working past 60 here BUT you have to have a medical every year and your visa will only be issued yearly.

Thanks Pandatwins. That's what I had read.

The way the recruiter stated it was -

'the overarching regulatory body which controls the criteria for appointments right across the Abu Dhabi Emirate has come back with an age limit of 56 years old.'

What would be the regulatory body for hospitals? SEHA?
