We have our 4 yr old Nephew staying with us a few weeks, and as we don't have children arent really sure which pubs / bars are suitable to take children to. My DH would be really upset if he has to miss his Thursday evening pint or 2. We have been to the One-2-One but weren't really that impressed. Is Traders suitable at all? I thought he could play on the beach. please help!!

Traders on Fridays do a beach BBQ from 5pm until 11pm and and children can go and there is a little park for the kids to play in.

I would also recommend Captains Arms at Le Meridian (if you can handle the traffic/construction) but may be go around 5pm so you can get a good table. There is a play/grass area that all the kids seem to congregate in.

Captains arms has a nice smallish grassed area, you can watch him whilst you have a beer. but it is traffic to get to.
traders is good on a friday evening they have a bbq starting at 5 and kids can play around a bit on the grass and water.
Not sure of any others I would like to know myself!

Hi,

The hotels at yas are good for children.

The Crowne Plaza has a kids club beside the pool bar. Not sure what time the supervision stops but it stays open through the eveninig for them to access the table tennis and toys.

The one nextdoor - think its the Park Inn - has a kids playpark beside their pool bar.

They are all pretty roomy and not busy yet so they dont mind a little one running about.
Take some toys with you. Thats what I tend to do for my 5 year old and she plays with her toys or colours a book beside us.

The Beach Rotana in the city has a great friday brunch suitable to take children.
big bouncy castle and face painting.

Sheraton also has a childrens room for brunch and its a free flowing sparkling wine.
You just have to make sure one of you can take the child home : )

have fun

Definitely traders but only on a Friday is the BBQ. I am not sure if you can have a drink at the restaurant called Afya, the little playground area is open all the time. What about the City golf club previously known as Equestrian club; they have a big grass area?
